Hvad er en implantat?

Enkelt sagt er det en kunstig rod , som bygges på tandskroner. Implantater er et specielt protesesupplement på grund af disse forhold

Patienten kan undgå problemmer med en klassisk protese ( protesefjernelse, nødvendighed af tandpolering) og en æstetik ved dette supplement er bare udmærket!

Det første implantat sættes inde i munden for 30 år siden og lige siden er det siddende.

Man skal ikke være bange for implantater - deres placeringer forårsager ikke mere problemer end tændernes fjernelse. I den første fase indsætter tandlægen implantaten ind i knoglen, derefter syer såret sammen og venter nogle måneder indtil implantaten "vokser ind" i knoglen. Først efter denne periode kan man bygge en protetisk krone på den, eller placere protese. Der er mange indikationer på implantaternes placering: fra mangel på en enkel tand op til fuldstændig mangel på alle tænder. En behandlingsplan afhænger af patientens egne behov, tandlægens afgørelse og finansielle muligheder. Patienter, som er fast besluttede på en behandling med implantater, kan finde ud af i en tandlægeklinik, at behandlingen ikke er mulig på grund af en ringe mængde af knogler eller andre ugunstige forhold. I vores klinik er vi ofte i stand til at klare disse problemmer ved specialle indgreb, som stimullere knoglens vækst.

I virkligheden er implantaten en ekstra rod af rent titan, som placeres i knoglen. Implantantens helingsperiode udgør 3 måneder. Efter denne periode kan man bygge tandens krone på ny. For at placere implantaten har vi behov for en tilstrækkelig mængde af knoglen. I dette øjeblik råder vi over forskellige kirurgiske metoder og præparater, som hjælper ved en knogleopbygning. Implantation

Often before the procedure of implant insertion it shows up that a particular site does not have a sufficient amount of bone in order to strongly anchor the implant. In such case we need to introduce special procedures aimed on increase of bone volume. Bone reconstruction with the use of Cerasorb can be performed with implant insertion at the same time. However, very often it is necessary to rebuilt the bone of dental process, and then, having the sufficient amount of bony tissue, the implant is inserted.

Tooth extraction (tooth removal)

In order not to allow the natural atrophy of bone tissue after tooth extraction, the tooth socket has to be filled up with Cerasorb immediately after extraction. This way we provide the necessary amount of bone tissue, necessary for possible future implantation. If the tooth socket is not filled up after the extraction, after 2-3 years from tooth removal the bone atrophy reaches up to 40-60%.

Resection of dental root apex

In case of inflammatory process around the tooth root apex, very often it is necessary to perform the resection. It is a surgical procedure which consists of removal of root’s apex and the surrounding tissues. As a result of this procedure there is a bone lesion which can be successfully filled up with Cerasorb.

Periodontology procedures

They deal with bone atrophy caused by inflammation processes due to bacterial plaques on teeth surface. The existing bone pockets are filled up with Cerasorb. Sometimes there is a necessity of additional use of membrane.

Cysts

Another field of use of Cerasorb is the fullfillment of bone lesions cause by cysts. Also in this case Cerasorb allows complete fulfillment of lesion and creation of new bone.

Conservative dentistry, prophylaxis of adults and children

• light-hardening filling
• root canal therapy (endodontic)
• varnishing with the use of fluorine varnish
• teeth hipersensitivity treatment
• teeth sealing

Protetik

There are a lot of different causes of teeth loss: teeth extractions, injuries, car accidents, congenital failures of teeth. They all cause difficulties with food digestion. There are also problems of esthetic nature. Remember that prosthetic treatment brings back the correct functioning of chewing organ as well as wide, unhampered smile of the Patient.

Types of prostheses:

• prosthesis over the implants – excellent prosthetic solution in case of partial (one up to few) as well as total lack of teeth – crowns and bridges and movable prostheses supported on implants
• ceramic crowns and bridges (CERCON) - very esthetic and highly durable
• crowns and bridges on golden or metal base
• classic skeletal prosthesis or with precise retention elements (clasps, bolts)
• elastic prosthesis (Valplast), acrylic, partial and total

Kirurgi

In our practice we perform a lot of implantology, microsurgery and surgery procedures, such as:

Behandling paradontose

As a result of chronic gum inflammation (parodontitis) you have undergone bone atrophy and developed a bone pocket. There is a serious danger, that your tooth will soon loose its natural nest in the bone. However, “fastening” of that tooth can be kept.

After removal of inflammatory changed tissue and cleaning of the tooth the doctor can fill the lesion up with the preparation that stimulates the bone growth, what provides your bone the optimal growth conditions. Within several months you will develop some new bony tissue in that site.
